Setup Kitchen Printer

Setup Kitchen Printer interface screen in landscape mode

Setup Kitchen Printer interface allows user create Kitchen Printer and allow user to assign PLU item to Kitchen Printer at Setup PLU, for printing kitchen order.

In order to access Setup Kitchen Printer interface:

Main Menu > Setup POS > Kitchen Printer

General Tab

Parameter	Description	Required
Name	Name or the description of the object.	Yes
Printer	Printer/Peripherals that the kitchen order to be printer into.	Yes
This POS Printing Only	This parameter allows the Kitchen Printer to be only print from specific POS Terminal. Setting anything other than (All POS Devices) value will cause the order that only print from the POS Terminal that order from. This can use for grouping POS Terminal and Kitchen Printer printing.	No

Option Tab

User can enable or disable certain options to make cashier operation different. Please refer the table below for more details of each option does.

Option	Description
1 - Split Item Per Ticket	Split PLU item to be printing into individual ticket instead group into same item kitchen printing.
2 - Split Qty Per Ticket	Split Quantity into single item per ticket. Which means, if there's more than 1 quantity of same item in the order, the kitchen printing will be separate per quantity. Note: Required Option 1 to be enable
3 - Don't Print Condiment Item	Enable this option will ignore printing any item that is condiment item type. Note: This will affect Set Menu's item as well!
4 - Print Price Level Name	This will print price level naming besides the PLU item name.
5 - Print Total Page Count for Split Qty	This will print the total page count for quantity splitting printing. Note: Required Option 2 to be enable
6 - Print PLU Name first instead of Qty first	This will make the kitchen printer print PLU item name in front of the line and the quantity at the end of the line.
7 - Print PLU Code	Enable this will print PLU Item code. This option will work only if PLU code assigned.
8 - Print PLU Code only without Name	This will print only the PLU item code only without its Name. This option will work only if PLU code assigned. Note: Required Option 7 to be enable
9 - Don't Print Cancelled PLU	This will skip print cancelled PLU item.
10 - Print Condiment Quantity	Enable this option will print condiment's quantity.
11 - Print PLU Name2	This will print PLU item name2 This option will work only if there's Name2 assigned.
12 - Print PLU Name2 Only if available	This will only print PLU item name2 without name This option will work only if there's Name2 assigned Note: Required Option 12 to be enable
13 - Sort PLU Item order by PLU's Display Sequence	This will sort based on PLU Item's Display Sequence first then PLU Item's Name. Smallest number will be prioritize first.
