Setup Discount

User can setup specific discount type and discount object at Setup Discount interface.
In order to access Setup Discount interface:
Main Menu > Setup POS > Discount
General Tab

| Name | Name or description of the object. | Yes |
| Value | Fixed discount value(rate or amount).
When option 2 is enabled, the value will become percent rate, and possible value will be 0 to 100 without % symbol. When option 2 is disabled, the value will become amount price to be discount. If option 5 is enabled, this parameter will be ignored. |

Option Tab
User can enable or disable certain options to make cashier operation different. Please refer the table below for more details of each option does.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 - Bill Discount(Uncheck for Item Discount) | The discount type into bill discount. Disabled it for Item Discount |
| 2 - Amount Discount(Uncheck for Percent Discount) | Enabled for amount discount instead of percent discount. |
| 4 - Before Tax Calculation(Only Item Discount) | The discount calculation will take place first before tax calculation. |
| 5 - Open Discount | Enable this will prompt user to enter arbitrary discount value. |
