Setup Tax

Setup Tax interface screen in landscape mode

User able to setup multiple taxes and service charges for the system on this interface.

The top view is available tax and service charge that the system currently has configured. The bottom view is for user to create new or editing existing tax or service charge.

User able to re-order the tax listing for the tax calculation.

Once all the tax configured complete, user needs to click/tap Save button to confirm it.

Tax Parameter

Parameter	Description	Required
Name	Name or description of the tax object.	Yes
Rate	The rating of the tax calculation. Valid range is 0.00 ~ 100.00 without % symbol.	Yes
Acronym	Short letter for tax symbol, example SR for Standard Rate. This parameter can be blank	No
Tax Type	Tax Type calculation method. Type Description Add-On Tax calculation will add into base price of the PLU item. The calculation will stack with other tax object that has Add-On tax type as well. Example: You have Tax 1 - 5% (Add-On) and Tax 2 - 10% (Add-On) and the item price is 10.00 Item Price 10.00 Tax 1 - 0.50 Tax 2 - 1.05 Final price will be 11.55 VAT Tax calculation will not add into base price of the PLU item. This type of tax will knowns as Value Added Tax. Final price will be same as the based price. Example: You have Tax 1 - 5% (Add-On) and Tax 2 - 10% (VAT) and the item price is 10.00 Item Price 10.00 Tax 1 - 0.50 Tax 2 - 1.00 Final price will be 10.50 Add-On(Individual) Same as Add-On type tax, the only difference is it does not stack with other tax object. Example: You have Tax 1 - 5% (Add-On) and Tax 2 - 10% (Add-On Individual) and the item price is 10.00 Item Price 10.00 Tax 1 - 0.50 Tax 2 - 1.00 Final price will be 11.50	Yes
